Penny and Teri were married in October at Desert Harbor Retreat<\/a> surrounded by close friends and family. The day couldn’t have been more perfect even though the threat of a lingering summer storm edged its way along the foothills of the Sandia Mountains.<\/p>\n

Since New Mexico opened marriage up to all couples wishing to exchange vows and build their lives together, I have seen quite a few same sex weddings come to New Mexico from neighboring states (and even some not so close). Every story is different but the foundation of love and honor is there and I have learned so much from each couple that I meet.<\/p>\n
